Hones Chalet Style Quartz Musical Cuckoo Clock with Men Sawing Wood, Water Wheel & Dancers

Two cast iron pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two separate brass chains.  On the hour, every hour, the cuckoo bird will emerge from behind a swinging door above the clock dial and counts out the hour by cuckooing once for each hour (for example: at one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once.  At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times).  The half hour is announced with one cuckoo call.  Also on the hour, after the cuckoo's call, the dances below the cuckoo will move and twirl whilst one of twelve melodies is played and the two men will saw the log.  Please note, the cuckoo sound on this particular clock can be switched off and it also has an automatic night sensor which will stop the cuckoo from calling at night time.  This is a battery powered, Quartz movement clock, produced in the Black Forest of Germany.
